**How to Stop Procrastinating and Start Doing Things


This could be the title of a book. And I bet this book would be popular. We all know it: writing a post instead of doing some work, cleaning the flat when you need to write a new post, searching something on the Internet, when you have to clean the flat, you name it.

There might be several reasons for procrastination, one of them being the fear of failure. I often put things off, if I’m not sure that I can do it well. Usually it applies to activities that involve creativity. There’s only one good advice for such situations: acknowledge your fear and do what you’ve been planning to do anyway. There is a chance that you will fail, but there’s also a possibility that you’ll do something great, or at least good. There’s no way to find out unless you try.
